•Lynch syndrome (LS) screening is recently recommended for endometrial cancer (EC).•Molecularly LS-suspected Lynch-like cases (LL) lack germline pathogenic mutations.•In 348 ECs, clinical features of LS, LL, and sporadic cancer (SC) were compared.•LL showed intermediate features between LS and SC, and clearly differed from SC.
