Towards The Cp-Abe Application For Privacy-Preserving Secure Data Sharing In Iot Contexts

The increasing relevance of IoT in our daily life, such as healthcare and home automation, raises new concerns regarding how confidential and sensitive information is managed and privacy is assured. In this paper, we present a solution that takes into account and addresses these issues to foster adoption on IoT technologies and services by end users. We propose a novel architecture combining the flexibility and expressiveness of CP-ABE and the efficiency of symmetric key encryption techniques, with the purpose of carrying out secure data exchanges and preserving the participating entities privacy.
