摘要
•Based on the latest application technique of integrated circuit, a reliable and energy-friendly BCG measurement system is proposed.•PVDF film sensors are integrated into a seat cushion and foot insole to acquire the local BCG signals.•Sitting and standing positions are clearly distinguishable in the BCG signals seen as changed amplitudes and noise sensitivities.•Low power consumption and electrostatic discharge (ESD) immunity tests appear in the proposed system.•A representative algorithm is implemented to detect the beat-to-beat heart rate from the plantar BCG signals.
