摘要
Incidence of abnormal invasion of the placenta (AIP) is increasing as rates of caesarean section increase. Recently, a conservative surgical technique called the "the Triple P procedure" (perioperative placental localization, delivery with transverse uterine incision above the placenta, pelvic devascularisation and placental non-separation) has been proposed as an alternative to elective peripartum hysterectomy to reduce the risk of hysterectomy, reduce blood loss and hospital stay when compared to hysterectomy (1). We describe the first reported pregnancy following the Triple P for abnormal invasion of the placenta.
