Andrographolide-loaded nanoparticles for brain delivery: formulation, characterisation and in vitro permeability using hCMEC/D3 cell line.

摘要
•Andrographolide was loaded into albumin and poly-ethylcyanoacrylate nanoparticles.•Size, zeta-potential, polydispersity and morphology were investigated.•Blood brain barrier permeability was assessed using in vitro cell based model.•UPLC-MS/MS method was developed and validated according to EMA/FDA guidelines.•Albumin nanoparticles improved permeation maintaining the integrity of cell layer.
