Ensuring System Security Through Proximity Based Authentication
2017 22ND ASIA AND SOUTH PACIFIC DESIGN AUTOMATION CONFERENCE (ASP-DAC)(2017)
摘要
As Internet of Things applications using embedded systems enter wider markets, securing systems against attacks becomes necessary. In many applications, securely determining transmitter location helps maintaining system security. A relatively new RF-based localization technique called Received Signal Strength Ratio (RSSR), has potential utility in securing ad-hoc networks and body-area networks. We describe a novel attack on the security of such systems, and discuss a set of mitigation strategies that restore the effectiveness of RSSR.
