Shell Structures In Nb-91

High spin states of Nb-91 are populated via the fusion-evaporation reaction Ge-76 (F-19, 4n)Nb-91 at the beam energy of 80MeV. The existing level scheme is modified and extended to higher spins. Its low-lying states are well described by the weakly coupling between a g 9/2 proton and the even-even Zr-90 core, whereas the higher level structures could be interpreted by the multi-particle excitations in the model space p(1f(5/2), 2p(1/2), 1g(9/2)) n (1g(9/2), 2d(5/2), 1g(7/2)) in the framework of the shell model.
