摘要
•Circulating hematopoietic progenitor cells (CPCs) are CD34+KDR+ and CD133+KDR+.•Low CPCs prospectively predict cardiovascular events in meta-analyses.•Chronic stress of maternal caregiving is associated with reduced CPCs.•Negative daily maternal-child interactions explain this stress-immune relationship.•As expected, low CPCs are associated with a poorer lipid profile in this sample.
