Designing a Competence Management System 'Knome' for a Knowledge-Intensive Project Organization.

Knome is a Competence Management System CMS developed during a 33-month long Action Design Research ADR program in a knowledge-intensive project organization. It can be used to match customer demand with the present and future competences and interests of the employees. The artifact contains data on every employee of the case organization and most of the information is transparently open to all employees. The ADR program will result in scientific contribution with the generalized design principles of a CMS.
