Real-world challenges to collaborative text creation.

ABSTRACTAcademic real-time collaborative document editing faces a number of theoretical challenges. However, when implementing an editor in practice in the form of a web-based solution, a number of more practical challenges appear while some of the more theoretical problems seem less relevant. In this position paper we argue for working from a practice-based perspective when confronting issues of collaborative editing.
