Abstract
For the problem of node position accuracy in underwater wireless sensor network (UWSN), we analyze the effects of node mobility and time synchronization on distance estimation in range-based localization algorithm. This paper proposes a non-time synchronization and localization algorithm based on the semi-periodical property of seawater movement. Firstly, through tracking the trajectory of movement node, this algorithm determines the location where node sends packets to. Secondly, with the help of the nature of underwater acoustic channel broadcast packets, we finish estimating the distance which based on the non-time synchronization algorithm. Finally, we estimate the position of the node by Second-Order Cone Programming algorithm. The simulation results show that the algorithm performs well on the comprehensive achievements of the positioning accuracy and energy consumption.
