摘要

•IP-10 was assessed in chronic HBV patients treated with peginterferon and adefovir.•High baseline plasma IP-10 predicts response to therapy in HBeAg-positive patients.•During treatment plasma IP-10 increases most in HBeAg-positive non-responders.•Baseline plasma IP-10 levels correlate with intrahepatic IP-10 mRNA expression.•Plasma IP-10 and intrahepatic IP-10 mRNA reflect pre-treatment immune activation.
