摘要

•We developed a general-purpose Monte Carlo particle transport code PHITS.•PHITS can deal with the transport of nearly all particles over wide energy ranges.•More than 1500 researchers have been used PHITS for various applications.•Physics models and special functions implemented in PHITS are briefly summarized.
