Poly(ethylene) waxes, structure and thermal characteristics

Poly(ethylene) waxes resulting as by‐products in the polymerization of ethylene or as pyrolysis products of poly(ethylene) were studied by NMR, IR, UV spectroscopy and thermogravimetry. The effect of the conditions of preparation on the structure and thermal properties of the waxes was studied.
