Petrogenesis of the early Paleozoic strongly peraluminous granites in the Western South China Block and its tectonic implications

•The Dulong batholith was composed of strongly peraluminous monzogranites.•The Dulong granites are emplaced mainly at ∼430Ma.•The Dulong granites originated from mixing of crustally- and mantle-derived magmas.•The lithospheric delamination was responsible for the early Paleozoic magmatism.
