Background: Radical lymph node dissection (RLND) is the standard treatment for melanoma patients with positive sentinel node biopsy (SNB) but is burned by a meaningful post-operative morbidity especially in case of groin dissection. Wound infection, seroma, dehiscence and early lymphedema are the most frequently observed events after surgery.
