Thermal study of the phase transitions of blue bronze K0.3MoO3

摘要

DSC measurements have been performed on blue bronze K0.3MoO3 between 110 and 295 K. Two anomalies at 240 and 180 K were observed in heating runs. A hysteresis of nearly 40 K at the 240 K anomaly was observed in a cooling run, which indicates a first-order transition.
