摘要
Evaporation of WO3.0 powder during transmission electron microscopy resulted in the formation of nanofibers of WO2.9, which deposited on adjacent cooler regions of the carbon substrate. Controlled experiments using the inert gas condensation method were performed to investigate the formation mechanism of the nanofibers. Depending oil the growth conditions, different morphologies of WO2.9 phase were observed. Structural characterization was carried out using analytical electron microscopy techniques. On the basis of these observations, a qualitative growth model is proposed.
