摘要

•We identified a genotype–diet interaction involving the CLOCK gene and fat intake.•Participants carrying rs3749474 (TT + CT) may benefit from dietary fat restriction.•The genetic variants had no significant influence on the change in obesity variables.•The present results may contribute to personalized dietary interventions.
