Health resource utilization among US veterans with psychogenic nonepileptic seizures: A comparison before and after video-EEG monitoring

•We compared health resource utilization before and after video-EEG monitoring.•Utilization of outpatient visits related to psychogenic seizures was decreased.•Utilization of antiepileptic drugs related to psychogenic seizures was decreased.•Utilization of outpatient visits not related to psychogenic seizures was increased.•We observed a trend toward increased utilization of psychiatric outpatient visits.
