摘要

•ANT-DBS in refractory epilepsy is confounded by unambiguous definition of the stimulation target.•Evidence lacks also showing that stimulation specifically at ANT improves outcome.•Present study defines the ANT target in detail using 3T MRI and demonstrates that therapeutic effect is specific to stimulation at ANT.
