摘要
Background: Pregnancy in the rudimentary uterine horn is an extremely rare condition and a pregnancy of this type culminating in the delivery of a live fetus is even rarer. Case: This report describes successful extraction of a 23 weeks-2-days live neonate weighing 540 g. The pregnancy was located in a noncommunicating rudimentary uterine horn. Conclusions: This is a first report about the long-term outcome for a surviving fetus of this type of pregnancy. It is suggested that rudimentary horns should be removed if a patient is planning to get pregnant in order to prevent problems like this from occurring.
