Helicobacter Vertebral Osteomyelitis in an Immunocompetent Adult

Helicobacter species have been noted to cause infection in immunosuppressed patients and, with increasing frequency, in immu- nocompetent persons. We describe the first reported case of Helico- bacter vertebral osteomyelitis, provisionally identified as H cinaedi, which occurred in an immunocompetent person.
