摘要

•Dodecylamino Diglycidyl Ether of Isosorbide (DoDGEDAS) was synthesized as novel cationic bio-sourced surfactant.•The DoDGEDAS surfactant has excellent emulsifier properties at low concentrations and good thermal stability.•O/W emulsions were fabricated using low concentration of DoDGEDAS as emulsifier.
