Experimental And Theoretical Investigation Of The Triple Differential Cross Section For Electron Impact Ionization Of Thymine Molecules

We here present triply differential cross sections for the electron impact ionization of inner valence orbitals of thymine measured using a conventional (e, 2e) spectrometer. The measurements are performed in the coplanar asymmetric geometry at an incident energy of 250 eV and 20 eV ejected electron energy, over a range of momentum transfers. The experimental results are compared with theoretical calculations.
