摘要
•82 patients (30%) out of 269 eligible patients accepted to participate.•This is one of the longest follow-up (median 18 years) in breast cancer patients.•Epirubicin-treated patients had significantly higher heart rate, more abnormal US and lower LVEF by MRI.•A trend towards higher BNP was also observed in the anthracycline-treated group.•No differences were observed in LVEF assessed by echocardiogram or troponin T levels.
