摘要
•The ca. 1.32Ga diabase swarms were identified in the western Liaoning Complex of the NCC.•The magmas were likely derived from the transitional or slightly enriched mantle coupled with minor crustal assimilation.•Mid-Mesoproterozoic magmatism in the northern NCC occurred coincidently with the breakup of the Columbia.
