摘要

•Crystals of K2Mg(SO4)2⋅6H2O doped with Eu have been grown by slow evaporation method.•The luminescence studies of compounds revealed that there is two different crystalline environments.•There is not energy transfer processes among the Eu3+ ions located in the two different sites.
