Facile Synthesis of 3D Hierarchical Flower-like Co 3-x Fe x O 4 ferrite on Nickel Foam as High-Performance Electrodes for Supercapacitors

•3D hierarchical flower-like Co3-xFexO4 ferrite were obtained using a facile two-step method.•The flower-like structure could provide facile electron transport paths in the electrode for fast Faradiac reaction.•The 3D hierarchical feature largely increases the amount of electroactive sites.•The 3D hierarchical Co3-xFexO4 ferrite exhibit excellent electrochemical performances with high capacitance, excellent rate capability and stability.
