Assessment of progression in glioblastoma using apparent diffusion coefficient

Introduction: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) are very aggressive and radioresistant tumors whose standard treatments associate surgery followed by radio-chemotherapy. GBM are most often characterized by recurrence within the original tumor site, distant recurrence or dissemination. The objective of this study is to investigate the added value of Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADCmin) over area method [1] or volumetric method [2], in assessment of tumor progression in GBM.
