摘要

•Fresh pomegranate pulp (PP) was directly ensiled with high fermentation losses.•Addition of solid additives improved PP ensiling and reduced DM loss.•Voluntarily consumption of PP silage is restricted to 20% of dietary DM.•DM digestibility of PP silage by sheep is 60.1%.
