摘要

•SERS-active surfaces based on anodic porous alumina (APA) were fabricated.•The Raman scattering enhancement is due to the presence of nanometric pores.•Biocompatible thin APA films were used as cell seeding substrates.•Enhanced Raman spectra of living cells were acquired.
