摘要

•Both Debye-like relaxation and relaxor-like anomaly were observed in CaF2.•Raman and DSC results revealed that the defects in CaF2 are VF, F′i, and oxygen ions.•The Debye-like behavior was ascribed to the mobility of the fluorine vacancies.•The anomaly stems from the relaxation associated with the dipolar complex of O″−VF.
