Bringing Gokb To Life: Data, Integrations, And Development

The Global Open Knowledgebase (GOKb) project is developing a repository of freely available data that describes electronic journals and books as they are offered in the academic publishing supply chain. Since the first partners release in May 2014, the project has taken major steps toward realizing its goals. This article will include a general project overview and update, followed by discussion of data collection, integration, and development initiatives that are already underway among the project partners.
