Technologies Based on Hydrocarbon-Base Surfactant Compositions for Improved Efficiency of Oil Recovery (Russian)

The scientists of JSC NIIneftepromchim have been developing the reagents and methods for improved efficiency of oil recovery using the hydrocarbon-base surfactant compositions (HBSC) for a number of years. Application of the compositions containing surfactants of different types instead of the single surfactant changes the properties of these systems over a wide range and adapts the compositions for different geological and physical conditions of the oil fields. A number of technologies based on HBSC was developed and successfully applied for enhanced oil recovery. The conducted work proves good prospects for application of these technologies for improved efficiency of oil recovery in the mature oil fields with high water cut of well production.
