Nanotechnology For Cancer Screening And Diagnosis

Screening and early diagnosis of cancer is desirable for predictive, preventive, and immediate treatment interventions in order to reduce mortality rates of cancer patients. Nanotechnology has been enhancing various techniques for screening and detecting cancers in the form of new biosensing and imaging platforms. This review presents the advantages of nanomaterials used in these platforms and introduces the various nanotechnology-based biosensing and imaging techniques that are improving screening and diagnosis of cancers.
