High-Sensitive Measurements of Magnetization in PrPb 3 with SQUID Magnetometer

We have measured the temperature dependence of magnetization together with the magnetic field dependence of specific heat in PrPb 3 .The temperature dependence of magnetization shows two clear anomalies at T h and T Q at low fields.A hysteresis is observed for the temperature dependence of magnetization at around T h .In H = 0.2 T, it appears at T h ∼ 0.25 K, which is in good agreement with the temperature that a small anomaly appears in the specific heat.As the magnetic field is increased, T h decrease gradually.Above H = 1 T, T 1 seems to merge the first-order phase transition due to the commensurate-incommesurate transition.
