摘要
Distinct ECG findings on leads V1-V3 without clinical features of Brugada Syndrome is called Brugada-type-ECG-pattern (BTEP) and has been shown to be associated with increased arrhythmic risk in some registries. Early repolarization pattern (ER) on surface ECG has recently been associated with an increased risk of malignant ventricular arrhythmias. Recently, there is a terminological trend to unify ER and BTEP which share similar pathophysiological and clinical characteristics like male predominance, dynamicity, and unmasking by vagal/pharmacological stimulation or by higher ECG lead positions, under the name of J-wave patterns. We aimed to suggest a more sensitive method to unmask J wave patterns in a young Turkish male population.
