摘要

We propose a round robin based metro ring, by analyzing the network operating and bandwidth allocation mechanisms. Then, we build a simulation testbed, and compare RR-ring with MSTP and PTN. Simulation results show that as for transmission efficiency, RR-ring outperforms MSTP, and is comparable to PTN.
