摘要
53 INTRODUCTION Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) is a clinical technique developed by Nyman and Dahlin to generate sufficient bone volume . This technique is based upon the phenomenon that the application of a membrane creates a secluded space in which to facilitate the proliferation of angiogenic and osteogenic cells from the basal bone into the space in which bone volume is required without interference by fibroblasts. The membranes currently used for GBR are mainly divided into three types based upon their primary material: expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), synthetic biodegradable polyester and collagen membranes .
