摘要
This study analyzes the physical and mechanical behavior that presents a new composite material formed by a polymer matrix reinforced with recycled PET and zinc particles. For this analysis, powder is obtained in two different compositions of 5 and 40 wt% of metal particles, in order to manufacture by powder technology necessary samples to obtain the results for determining the physical and mechanical behavior of these materials. In this characterization test tubes processed to a constant temperature of 256 degrees C are used, isothermally applied in 10, 15 and 20 minutes. A comparative analysis is performed by optical and stereoscopic microscopy. The obtained results show that the material that presents the best mechanical and microstructural behavior, is the one that was isothermally processed for 15 minutes and that presents the highest content of zinc particles.
