摘要
Influenza is one of the most common respiratory diseases. It may be very serious and can result in high morbidity and increased mortality, mainly due to severe complications. Most of them occur in patients with underlying medical conditions, including chronic disorders of the pulmonary or cardiovascular system, metabolic diseases like diabetes, renal dysfunction, haemoglobinopathies and immunosuppression [1,2]. Patients subjected to chemotherapy also belong to the high-risk group and they should be vaccinated against influenza every year.
