Possibilities Of New Data In Hadroproduction

摘要
We describe experiments that can produce data that is of relevance to hadronic shower simulation. In particular we describe the possibilifies to dramatically improve the quality of the data available for improving hadronic shower simulators made possible with the upgraded Main Injector Particle production Experiment (MIPP). We describe the status of MIPP which has to date acquired 19 million events of particle interactions using (5 GeV/c-120 GeV/c) pi(+/-), K-+/- and p(+/-) beams on various targets and the plans to upgrade the data acquisition speed of MIPP to make it run 100 times faster.
