Scedosporium apiospermum causing otomycosis in an immunocompetent child with tympanostomy tubes: Management of this rare entity

摘要
Infection following a tympanostomy tube insertion is a common occurrence. Scedosporium apiospermum is a filamentous fungus mainly isolated in water and soil. There have been no reported cases of S. apiospermum infection of an immunocompetent individual with a tympanostomy tube in situ.
