摘要

•Ruderal plant communities growing on As contaminated soils were investigated.•Total As concentrations in aboveground biomass were influenced by soil properties.•An effect of plant specie on total As concentrations seems to be presented as well.•All investigated species were found with major occurrence of As(III) and As(V).•AB was significantly presented in Carex praecox Schreb. and Plantago lanceolata L.
