Individualized music: a route to improving the quality of life for long-term care residents.

Purpose: The present study examined the effects of providing cognitively intact nursing home residents with music of their own choosing on immediate satisfaction and global quality of life. Method and Design: The design was a pre- and post-test intervention study.
