This letter proposes the design of a read-out circuit for a carbon nanotube gas-sensor array. The designed circuit relaxes the on-resistance restrictions of the sensor selection switches with the Kelvin technique. Experimental results reveal the effectiveness of the Kelvin technique in the fabricated read-out circuit. (C) 2010 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. Published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
