Validation of CHAMP electron temperature measurements by incoherent scatter radar data

The CHAMP performed electron temperature, Te, measurements during its mission period from 2000 to 2010. For the validation of these Te data comparisons with incoherent scatter radar observations at Arecibo and Troms⊘ (EISCAT) have been performed.
