摘要
A numerical model for transient flow in open channel provoked by floodgates movement is developed. The application of mass and momentum conservation laws yields to a system of two partial differential equations of hyperbolic type. The obtained system is resolved by the Mc-Cormack scheme. Applications concern free surface transient flows in a rectangular channel where the initial steady state is supposed to be uniform. The transient regime is provoked by the movement of a floodgate at the upstream end of the channel producing sinusoidal fluctuations of depth. At the downstream end, a condition of a closed floodgate is imposed. The applied excitation has permitted to analyze wave propagation produced by valve maneuvers, to examine the proper pseudo pulsations provoking the resonance of the free surface waves and to study the evolution of depths according to the time in different sections of the channel. For a sinusoidal excitation with the proper pulsation of the flow, one attends an excessive elevation of depths that can provoke the flooding of the channel.
