摘要

•We propose a simplex-method to improve the transmission performance for coherent optical systems with non-identical spans.•This method not only improves the QoT to be above the requirement, but also minimizes the number of EDFA.•The effectiveness of our strategy is proved through both theoretical calculation and numerical simulation.
